Living in the Northwest
I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest since 1996, including in the Hawthorne, Mt Tabor, and Alberta Arts neighborhoods of Portland. I decided to become a full-time real estate agent years ago because I’m passionate about finding high-quality homes at a good price for individuals and families who are interested in making Portland, Oregon their home too.
The environment and sustainability
The environment and sustainability are important to me. In addition to volunteering time and donating a percentage of my commission to a number of environmental organizations, I’ve served on the Mayor’s Sustainability Cabinet, worked with the Oregon League of Conservation Voters, Sierra Club, and other local environmental organizations. I am certified as an Earth Advantage green broker and as a trade ally of Energy Trust of Oregon.
Giving back to the community
I enjoy giving back to the community, serving as a Board Member for a number of local non-profit organizations and remaining active with several Portland-area community and neighborhood organizations that support close-in southeast and northeast Portland neighborhoods. As a Portland resident and active community member, I offer a unique and informed perspective about these great inner-eastside Portland neighborhood homes.
Other passions in life
And like my fellow Portlandians, my passions extend beyond my “day job” to help keep Portland the rich and vibrant place we all love. I enjoy traveling, exploring the ever-expanding list of Portland area restaurants, brewing my own homebrew beer, and gardening. I balance this rich city life with a healthy schedule of various sports and/or outdoor activities including hiking and bicycling, and playing soccer and ultimate frisbee.
